Actress and human rights advocate, Mia Farrow, has used her Twitter platform to speak against the Uyghur genocide.

“It took the IOC so long to say so little re Peng Shuai’s disappearance. On her behalf & for the Uighur minority, which Beijing is in the process of eliminating, athletes & ppl of conscience should demand that IOC hold the Games elsewhere. #UyghurGenocide“, her recent tweet says.

“How is it acceptable for China to host the Olympic Games while orchestrating a genocide upon the Uyghur people?”, Farrow tweeted yesterday.

The Uyghur community gains valuable moral support from the celebrities that choose to stand against the Uyghur genocide.
