Several multinational companies in the French market use Chinese subcontractors with links to Chinese concentration camps and coerced labor. The system uses slaves, not employees, Glucksmann continues.

TASHKENT, UZBEKISTAN — A renowned Uyghur scholar Dr. Akram Hashimov has passed away in Uzbekistan at 59, Uyghur Times Uyghur Edition reports.

The list of late Mr. Akram Hashimov ‘s life achievements stands long: He was an associate professor of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, a senior researcher of the National Music Arts, a Doctor of Arts, and Master of Discipleship. Dr. Hashimov was one of the leading Uyghur cultural figures in Uzbekistan.

Zainura Isa, an Uyghur poet and a great daughter of the Uyghur nation passed away due to an illness in Istanbul on January 8, 2022.

Ms. Isa was born in Kashgar in 1944. She spent her childhood in Aksu and in Turpan. After graduating from high school, she entered the ‘Xinjiang’ University of Language and Literature in 1960. In 1965, she graduated from the University with honors. After graduating, she became a lecturer at the same university.

Uyghurs in Germany demonstrated to boycott the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games to be held next month in China, Haberler.com reported.

The World Uyghur Congress had summoned hundreds of people to protest the Beijing Winter Olympic Games in front of the historic Brandenburg Gate in the capital Berlin. Next, they marched to the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The new White Paper on Export Control, which Beijing released on Wednesday (December 29th), states that China will curb exports of dual-use technology, military products, nuclear items for the sake of its national security. Dual-use goods, technologies, and services are suitable for civilian or military purposes.
The document is China’s first white paper on export controls and comes around one year after the implementation of the PRC Export Control Law in December 2020.
