#StopDeportUyghurs
Tahir Imin Uyghurian
Hello, dear brothers and sisters, according to a recent report from AP News, the Thai government is about to deport 43 Uyghur prisoners to China. The situation is dire, the risks are severe, and the danger is immense!
In this critical time, we have three ways to act:
- Through our organizations, we must reach out to the U.S., the European Union, and the United Nations to prevent the deportation using all legal means.
- We need to launch a large-scale social media and media campaign to raise global awareness and push the international community to take action for these Uyghurs.
- We must directly pressure the Thai government: write letters to the Thai embassy, make calls, organize protests, and use social media to apply pressure.
I am aware that several Western academic organizations have already mobilized, hiring lawyers and taking legal action.
I have also initiated a large-scale social media campaign urging the Thai government to refrain from handing over Uyghur prisoners to China. I’ve made a short, urgent appeal and encourage everyone to join forces and take action in whatever way possible. If these individuals are deported to China, they will face imprisonment, torture, and even the death penalty. These are our brothers and sisters.
On behalf of all Uyghur immigrants, let us unite and grow stronger!
