Uyghur Islamic Center Launches Activity to Raise Awareness About Uyghur Genocide Among American Muslims

According to information obtained from the Uyghur Agency, on June 3, the Uyghur Islamic Center launched an activity to raise awareness about the Uyghur genocide among American Muslims and allow Uyghur camp witnesses to testify about the crimes committed by the Chinese authorities against Uyghurs.

This activity began at the “Valley Ranch Islamic Center” of the renowned Palestinian scholar Omar Suleiman in Texas. This Islamic center has provided financial and promotional film assistance for the construction of the Uyghur Islamic Center in America.

At the testimony gathering, camp witness Zumret Dawut spoke about her experiences. Uyghur activist Arslan Hidayat served as interpreter and explainer.

The Uyghur Islamic Center expressed gratitude to those who participated and assisted in this activity, including Zumret Dawut, Arslan Hidayat, the Uyghur community of Dallas, Texas, the Valley Ranch Islamic Center’s management board and Imam Omar Suleiman, Yasir Birjas, the Epic Islamic Center’s management board, and Imam Yasir Qazi.
