“Uyghur Fashion Show” exposes forced labor in clothes industry

Last week, the Uyghur American Association showcased Uyghur fashion and culture at the Uyghur Center in Fairfax, Virginia, while calling out to end Uyghur forced labor in the fashion industry.

On February 25, the Uyghur American Association showcased Uyghur fashion and culture at the Uyghur Center in Fairfax, Virginia, while calling out to end Uyghur forced labor in the fashion industry. 

 

More than 100 fashion brands in the apparel industry are linked to Uyghur forced labor. “Uyghur youth will preserve our traditions and keep alive our culture that the CCP is trying to destroy!” the UAA tweets.
