On his second trip to Taiwan, Pompeo, One of CCP’s most hated American politicians, urged Washington and Taipei to boost military and economic relations amid China’s increasing threats that have been the key factor in bringing Taiwan closer to the United States.

He said “If we want a free 21st century, and not the Chinese century, the century which Xi Jinping dreams of, the old paradigm of blind engagement must end,” said Pompeo, who advocated a tougher stance against China when he was in office, Japan Times reported;

Pompeo, also one of the most welcomed American politicians among the Uyghur and Tibetan communities in the diaspora, had laid a foundation for international recognition of China’s inhumane policies against the Uyghurs as genocide by declaring the CCP regime committed genocide against the Uyghurs on his last day in office.

Mr.Pompeo has never stopped to advocate for more drastic foreign policies on China raising CCP’s threats to U.S national security and international order.

Beijing imposed sanctions on the former secretary of state and other senior U.S. officials for their “anti-China” remarks not long after he left office at the end of Donald Trump’s administration in January of 2021.
