NBC refuses to run an ad critical of China’s human rights record

NBC refuses to broadcast an ad critical of China during the Beijing winter games, Florida GOP Rep. Mike Waltz says. 

‘I think the companies supporting the games should be ashamed’, the Florida lawmaker said to New York Post. ‘Many of them contribute millions of dollars to social justice causes, and yet are turning a blind eye to the genocide going on [in China].’ 

The ad also features Enes Kanter Freedom of the Boston Celtics. 

NBC has said they will not run the ad unless the producers remove the corporate logos. Rep. Waltz said they are not going to make changes to the content.
