Despite the rainy weather in Geneva, former Uyghur and Kazakh detainees from Chinese concentration camps began a week-long protest outside the United Nations Human Rights Office in Geneva.

Gulbahar Jalilova, Kalbinur Sidik, Gulbahar Hatiwaji, and Omer Bekali are demanding that the UN release the report on the persecution of Uyghurs. Its release should happen before Michelle Bachelet’s (Secretary-General of the Human Rights Commission) to Uyghuristan/East Turkistan.
