The Chinese state media, CNR News, citing the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, reports, “According to the news from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Parhat Rozi, the former deputy director of the Agricultural and Rural Affairs Committee of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, is suspected of serious disciplinary and legal violations. Currently, he is undergoing a disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Autonomous Region Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.”
