The Chinese propaganda outlet Global Times reported that China’s Ministries of Commerce and Science and Technology have released a catalog titled “Export Prohibited and Restricted Technologies.”
China’s trade ministry announced that “In accordance with the “Foreign Trade Law of the People’s Republic of China” and the “Technology Import and Export Administration Regulations of the People’s Republic of China,” the “China’s Export Prohibited and Restricted Technologies Catalog” is now officially announced and will be effective from the date of publication. Simultaneously, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Science and Technology have declared the abolition of Announcement No. 38 of 2020 (“Adjusted Contents of ‘China’s Catalog of Export Prohibited and Restricted Technologies'”). Technologies with dual-use capabilities for both military and civilian purposes will be subject to export control management.”
