Tianshan net , the propaganda outlet of so-called Xinjiang authorities, reported that, according to the examination schedule, on December 23, the subjects of Ideological and Political Theory/Management Comprehensive Ability (8:30 to 11:30) and Foreign Language (14:00 to 17:00) were examined. On December 24, the examinations for Subject One and Subject Two of professional courses took place. Exams for subjects with a duration exceeding 3 hours were conducted on December 25.
The authorities did not report the numbers of Uyghurs and other ethnic groups who took the examination.
The National Postgraduate Entrance Examination (NPEE), abbreviated as “考研” or “统考” in Chinese, refers to the collective term for relevant examinations organized by education authorities and admissions institutions to select graduate students. It consists of both the preliminary examination and the interview, organized by the national examination authorities and admission units. This is a selective examination, and the accepted academic qualification is for regular higher education.
