Uyghur Man Fatally Shot in the Netherlands, Police Seek Information

A 23-year-old Uyghur man, Iskender Mahmut, (Maihemuti Yisikandaier), was fatally shot on Monday, February 10, on Professor Regoutstraat in Oss, Netherlands. Authorities are seeking information about his whereabouts in January and February to understand the circumstances leading to his death.

Iskender emigrated to Turkey before arriving in the Netherlands. His exact movements remain unclear, but he had previously stayed in Biddinghuizen, Ter Apel, Enschede, Oss, and Oosterhout. The police are urging anyone who knew him, provided him shelter, or has any information regarding the shooting to come forward.
