Washington, DC – The House of Representatives yesterday passed the bi-partisan Uyghur Policy Act (H.R. 4785) that Rep. Kim, Young [R-CA-39] introduced on July 29, 2021.
Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) introduced the Uyghur Policy Act, a bill to increase U.S. support for the Uyghur diaspora in the United States and other countries, as well as to advocate for improving the conditions of Uyghurs suffering human rights abuses at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). U.S. Representatives Young Kim (R-CA) and Ami Bera (D-CA) introduced companion legislation in the House of Representatives.
